Maternity leave is up...I go back to work on Monday. I have so many mixed feelings about it.
It was really really hard to go back at first. I guess over time you just "get used to" leaving baby all day, but it's pretty sad that so many of her waking hours are spent at daycare.
Finding the right caregiver(s) is key. I've switched my daughter twice because of disappointing situations. Third times the charm for us, I think! Keep your ears open even after you have your first situation worked out.
I still wish I was financially able to stay home and watch my baby grow and discover all day

My 6 weeks at home with Maggie seemed to FLY by. While towards the end it was getting hard to be at home alone for so many hours...me I'd gladly "learn" how to deal with that over being back at work. If only right? Mondays are really hard. Then I'm into the swing of the week. Then Fridays (today) DRAG by because I'm always so ready to get her and spend a weekend with her.
